The client portal app
Everything in your client portal is also in a free phone app, Practice Harbor Client Portal, for iPhone and Android. It's the same account as the portal in your web browser. You don't need to set up anything new.
This page is written for clients. Practices: the end of this page has a short message you can paste into your own emails.
Get the app
- iPhone or iPad: Practice Harbor Client Portal on the App Store (iOS 15.1 or later)
- Android: Practice Harbor Client Portal on Google Play
You can also search your app store for Practice Harbor Client Portal.
Use the same email address your practice has for you.
- No password yet? Most people sign in to the portal with an emailed link and never set a password. Tap Email me a sign-in link instead, enter your email, then open the email on your phone and tap the link to finish signing in.
- Have a password? Enter your email and password and tap Sign In.
If more than one practice uses Practice Harbor with your email, the app asks you to Choose your practice.
The first time you open the app after installing it, it may take a moment to update itself.
What you can do in the app
- Appointments: see what's coming up, add a session to your calendar, get directions, cancel if your practice allows it, and send a Request appointment if your practice offers online booking.
- Join video sessions: tap Join on the appointment when it's time.
- Messages: write to your clinician securely.
- Documents: complete the forms your practice sends you, see completed ones, and share a file with your practice.
- Billing: see what's due, pay with a card if your practice takes payments in the portal, manage your card, and view statements and receipts.
- Parents and guardians: if you manage more than one child's care, use Switch child on the Account tab.
- App lock: turn on Face ID, Touch ID or your fingerprint on the Account tab so nobody else can open the app on your phone.
Trouble signing in?
- The sign-in link didn't arrive: check your spam folder, then try again. Links can take a minute or two.
- The app says it doesn't recognize your email: you may have a different email on file with your practice. Ask them which one they use.
- You'd rather not use the app: everything still works in your web browser. See Getting started with your portal.
