Week of June 1: numbered billing documents, income allocation, a better Notes page

Billing documents grew up this week: persistent, numbered, and organized on the client profile.

New

  • Superbills and statements are now stored documents with sequential numbers (SB #0671, STMT #0487) — regenerate-proof, listed on the client profile alongside invoices, and openable as PDFs anytime.
  • Income allocation report: see income attributed per clinician, split by client payments vs. insurance payments — including payer-by-payer totals.
  • Note preferences: a "Remove names" writing-style option asks the AI to de-identify names in drafted notes.

Improved

  • The Notes page was redesigned: status filter chips, client search, sorting, and clear "waiting for signature" flags.
  • Sessions on a superbill are locked against accidental edits, matching how billing documents are expected to behave.
  • Note titles now reflect the session type automatically.
  • NPI fields validate their check digit at entry, so a typo can't reach a claim.

Fixed

  • ERA (payer remittance) parsing handled a payer format that previously dropped per-line adjudication detail.
  • Invoice numbering is self-healing and no longer capped — no more duplicate or skipped numbers on busy practices.
  • Insurance-linked payments in reports now resolve the client's name correctly.
