Week of November 1: Google Calendar tells you when it needs a reconnect

If your Google Calendar connection ever stops working, the app now says so on your calendar page and in Settings, instead of looking connected while nothing syncs.

New

  • Attendance report. A new report under Analytics lists past appointment statuses across clients and clinicians, with filters and CSV or Excel export. To count a clinician's sessions, filter to that clinician and Show. The Appointments card's View report on the dashboard now opens it.
  • Control Box 32 on your claims. A new Service facility location (Box 32) switch sits in the Default row of Claim rules. It's on, so nothing changes unless you turn it off, and new claims then leave Box 32 blank unless a rule picks a location. You can add a Box 32b ID there too, and type in or clear Box 32 on any Prepared claim. Claim rules.

Fixed

  • Google Calendar connected without permission. Google's permission screen lists each permission with its own checkbox, and a connection made with the calendar boxes unticked used to look connected while no appointment ever reached Google. Such a connection is now refused with a note saying what to tick. If you already have one, your calendar page and Settings → Calendar show a notice with a Reconnect in Settings button. Google Calendar sync.
  • A lost Google connection shows on the calendar page. When Google stops sharing your calendar (after a password change or revoked access), the notice now appears on your calendar page too, not only in Settings.
